Since 1992, Marimekko’s colorful and inclusive open-air fashion show has gathered thousands of people in Esplanade Park in the heart of Helsinki to toast the beginning of summer together. On 20 May 2022, the new Marimekko Day spreads all over Helsinki, filling the city scene with fun events from morning till night. … The Esplanade Park fashion show turns the runway into a joyous meadow of bold wildflowers with our blooming SS22 looks. We’ll enjoy live performances by Lxandra, a Finnish singer-songwriter famous for her enigmatic take on alternative pop. If you happen to be in Helsinki on 20 May, you won’t want to miss this one!
